Well last Friday I finally had an appointment with a midwife. The whole family came which was great! It’s always an adventure bringing kids to the dr.
I am so glad they all got to be there to see little Madison or Judah. It was too early to tell which. We definitely want to know when we can though. The baby was moving all over! Everything looks good. Praise God! There is always a moment of panic for me right before the tech. puts that thingy on my belly. What if there isn’t a baby in there! I have felt the same way every time. But obviously there is never a reason to fear:) There really is a baby in there
It is so amazing how our Creator weaves together our precious little ones. What an awesome God! What a blessing to be part of another miracle! We feel so blessed and humbled that God would entrust to our care another precious life to be raised for His glory!
Please continue to pray for this little one that they would continue to grow healthy and strong and that they would love and serve Jesus all of their days!

I was afraid this challenge was coming
Since I was married (except for when I was working) I have never been successful at setting and sticking to a waking time. It is something I have tried to do again and again. I think part of my problem is my lack of discipline when it come to going to bed the night before. But I am committed to getting better in this area, so here is my plan. The time I should be getting up each day in order to get myself ready and have my quiet time before the kids wake up is 6:30. How about you?

This weeks challenge is to set an evening routine. Here are my five things:
1.) Clean up kitchen
2.) Plan to do list for next day
3.) Pick up odds-n-ends around the house (with the kids)
4.) Bedtime routine with kids
5.) Spend time with my husband
I have not been good about getting to bed at a reasonable time so I am hoping this evening routine will help me stay on track.! Visit Tammy’s blog for more about Making Your Home a Haven.

Last weeks challenge was to set a bedtime and stick with it. I did pretty well actually. A couple nights I was even in bed before my goal time. I did not do very well this weekend though, I was back to my late time so I am kind of dragging my feet this morning. But today is a new day and I am excited about getting back on track! Todays challenge from Tammy is to choose to be cheerful even when you don’t feel like it. This is a great one for me! I was just recently talking to my husband about how my attitude has been pretty bad lately. I don’t like it when I let circumstances around me determine my attitude and outlook. It’s wrong! I am reminded of the verse: Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thess. 5:16-18. It’s a command! So today I am choosing to be cheerful! God is good and I have so much to be thankful about! If you would like to join in on todays challenge go to Tammys blog for more info.

Our challenge from Tammy today is to set a specific bedtime and stick to it! This is something I have always struggled with. I am such a night owl. Lately, I’m doing good if I am in bed before midnight! I know it will be so much easier to get up early if I have had a good nights rest though, so my goal is to be in bed by 10:30 every night. My plan is to stop what I’m doing at 10 and start getting ready for bed. Check out Tammys blog for her goals and more on Making Your Home a Haven.
